Kate Simmons and her team at Kate Simmons Dance have been training dancers and teachers for thirty years in both the School and it’s Vocational College.

Performance Opportunities

Professional Size Studios

At Kate Simmons Dance the students enjoy excellent studio facilities. Lessons are taught in large spaces, fully equipped with mirrors, ballet barres and sprung Harlequin floors.

Dance Examinations

Kate Simmons Dance holds two dance examination sessions per year. From the age of 5 years old the children can begin to participate in dance exams. Once the children are accomplished and confident in their class work, they will be encouraged to enter into an exam. The children are entered into Cecchetti Ballet, Modern and Tap dance examinations which are all quality assured by the ISTD.

Kate Simmons Dance puts its students’ well-being and expert training first. The School’s highly acclaimed dance classes continue to produce dancers of the highest calibre and they perform extremely well in Cecchetti Ballet, ISTD Tap and Modern examinations.

Dance students also go into full time Vocational Training and secure contracts across the profession in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Contemporary in positions worldwide.

All Students have the opportunity to perform in an annual production each Spring as part of their experience and learning at Kate Simmons Dance.
